Description
The committee worked during the eighth convocation of the Mazhilis on legislation concerning defence, national security, the defence industry, protection of the state border and the security of protected persons. Its remit also covered international relations and cooperation with foreign parliaments, international organisations and interparliamentary organisations. Parliament’s powers ended on 1 July 2026.
