Nurlan Sauranbayev
Nurlan Sauranbayev trained as an economist and holds a master’s degree in oil administration. He worked in rail and oil and gas, served as vice-minister and deputy defence minister, was akim of Shymkent and held a post in the Presidential Administration. In 2021 he led the national railway company.
