Алихан Смаилов

Born in 1972 in Almaty, Smailov graduated in applied mathematics and earned a Master’s degree in public administration. He worked in statistics and finance and served as Prime Minister in 2022–2024. Presidential decrees in 2024 and 2026 appointed him Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber.
