Biography

Aida Balayeva was born in Almaty Region and graduated from Almaty State University named after Abai and the Kazakh National Agrarian University. She received the degree of Candidate of Sociological Sciences in 2012.

Her career includes journalism, internal-policy administration, service as deputy akim of Astana, senior roles in the Presidential Administration, and ministerial posts. On 31 August 2026, she was appointed Deputy Chair of Kazakhstan’s Security Council.
