Born on 28 February 1964 in Zhambyl Region.

Education

After finishing S. M. Kirov School, served in the Soviet Air Defence Forces in Kaunas. Graduated from S. M. Kirov Kazakh State University in Law in 1991.

Career from source

• Began as a trainee at the Alatau District Prosecutor’s Office in Almaty.
• In 1992–2001, served as an Investigator, Senior Investigator, Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Cases, Deputy Almaty Air Transport Prosecutor and a Department Head at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
• Held leadership posts in the South Kazakhstan prosecution service and served as Shymkent Prosecutor in 2001–2006.
• Later headed the transport prosecution service and the prosecution offices of Aktobe Region, Almaty and North Kazakhstan Region.
• First Deputy Prosecutor General in 2019–2022.
• Appointed Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan on 3 March 2022.
