Biography

Daniya Yespaeva is an economist with a long career in banking. She began work in 1982 at the Aktobe regional office of the USSR State Bank.

She subsequently worked at Promstroybank, the Turan insurance company, AlemBank and BankTuranAlem, and headed the Aktobe branches of BTA Bank and Kazkommertsbank. She served in the sixth convocation of the Mazhilis in 2016–2021 as a member of the Finance and Budget Committee and in the seventh convocation in 2021–2023 as that committee’s secretary.

Archived records from the eighth convocation identify her as Deputy Speaker of the Mazhilis. The published CEC record of 27 August 2026 registers her as a deputy in the Kurultai’s first convocation from Ak Zhol.

Her parliamentary biography also records elections to the regional maslikhat in 2008 and 2012.
