Description
The committee worked during the eighth convocation of the Mazhilis. According to the official report for the second session, it was the lead committee for 20 bills between 1 September 2023 and 28 June 2024. Its legislative agenda included forestry, protected natural areas, civil protection, aquaculture, responsible treatment of animals and environmental cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Parliament’s powers ended on 1 July 2026.
