He led Islamic Financial Instruments, Olzha Logistics and Olzha Holding. He was deputy chair and chair of KazAgro in 2015–2016 and headed the Astana social and entrepreneurial corporation in 2016–2017. He was general director of OlzhaAgro in 2017–2023 and served in the eighth Mazhilis. On 27 August 2026, he was registered as a deputy of the first Kurultai from the Respublica party.
